THE CONTENTS OF THE CONFERENCE AND TOPICS FOR THE APPLICATION OF SUMMARIES:

• Factors of employment of disabled persons in the labour market;

•  Overview and comparison of Slovenian and European legislation from the field

       of employment (for those who are hard to employ);

•  Facing new challenges and dealing with them:

      o practices in the field of employment for hard-to-employ people without disabilities,

      o comparison of Eastern and Western Europe experience (examples of good practice),

      o New approaches in the field of employing disabled persons (supported  employment,

         social economy),

      o employment of retired people based on their disability,

      o terminology in the disability field (disabled ¹ unable to work);

• Assessment of the employer's needs in the employment of the disabled:

     o development of services providing support for employers of disabled persons,

     o examples of good practices (support services and employers) in the employment of the

        disabled);

• Assessment of the needs of the disabled in search for employment and those

      already employed.

 Organised professional tours - The tours will offer a possibility for participants to

 visit local organizations, enterprises and other institutions.

 The language of the conference - The official languages are English and Slovenian,

  all the lectures will be simultaneously interpreted.
